Golden eyes narrowed, the leafeon watched. She didn't watch anything important, just the gentle swaying of the park grass in what little breeze there was. The humidity today was almost unbearable. Andee preferred the spring to summer. It's when everything was growing and there was showers, wonderful water pouring down from the sky in cooling drops. It was life giving and the plants would reach up to collect the much needed liquid. It was when the little, discreet plants would come out of their shells and become "weeds" as the humans called them. Andee just saw them as beautiful, wonderful plants that deserved every drop of strength that she could give them.
Today she was trying to grow some berry bushes. She had always had issues growing the one things she really wanted to learn how to grow because that's just what her luck was. You may ask why she wanted to grow berries so badly. Food sources were always hard to find in the city, but also Andee just plain loved berries. It was like an addiction that she had long ago accepted and fallen in love with. Any kind of berry was ok by her, but especially the slightly spicy kind sent her in a frenzy.
So now she was staring intently at the ground willing the matter and nutrients around her to push itself up from the earth. To use the strength in both her and the ground to make a berry bush appear. They were hard to grow just from out of nowhere. That was because they created their own little life in succulent fruits. It wasn't like the flowers and seeds or nuts of the reproduction organs of the other plants Andee could grow. These put so much of their nutrients into their fruit that it often sapped strength from Andee for everyone it made.
Suddenly a tiny leaf appeared in the blades of grass. She grinned excitedly, the leaf was darker and glossy. She watched with eagerness as it began to grow, ignoring the annoying feeling of tiredness that already began to claim her small body. She sighed in disappointment as it turned out to be a holly berry bush, "Darn it!" She scuffed a brown paw across the ground and turned her back on the holly bush that waved it leaves at her happily.

It was quiet, peaceful, and incredibly boring. Elisa suppressed a yawn, due to the combined forces of a late night (personally, she blamed Grant and his stupid trumpet), an exhausting chase and irritatingly messy kill, and the humidity. Elisa hated humidity. It always made her tired and felt like she had weights tied around her limbs. Maybe she should have shed her jacket, but it had her weapons and everything. Elisa hated being without weapons even more than she hated humidity and the accompanying stickiness and sweat. Uncomfortable was better than dead.
Besides, she had her music player in her jacket. Listening to music was always important, dulling senses or not.
The Raichu walked into the park, clutching her frappuccino in both hands. Under her breath, she sang along to one of her songs, which was probably loud enough for others to hear. Elisa didn't mind. She simply ignored them all. As she walked past a random Leafeon who appeared to be determinedly ignoring a holly bush, the Raichu paused to take a sip from her beloved caffeinated beverage, tail swishing behind her.
For at least this moment in time, Elisa was happy. She hoped it would last.
Somehow, the electric rodent doubted it.

Haha, SCORE!
The girly-colored Wartortle became insanely happy as he saw a Leafeon chick sitting on a bench. He smoothed back his fluffy ears and turn on what he liked to call his "swag charm". As he walked coolly over to the Leafeon, he noticed a punk-rock Raichu standing nearby.
...Is that a chick?
Normally, Twill would be very good at spotting the ladies. With her piercings and whatnot, he was pretty sure she was. But kids these days- who knew?
He sat on the bench next to the Leafeon, observing the fact that she seemed very angry on the friendly holly bush that had just... appeared out of nowhere? But in Sootopolis, stuff like that wasn't very uncommon. He waved it off as her gift and moved on. The only gift he had was his swagger, and that was good enough for him.
"Hey babe," he said slyly, "I'm sure happy I'm not that holly bush. I wouldn't be able to see your pretty face."

Andee glanced up as she saw a Raichu with many piercings and jewelery covering almost every part of it's body walk past. Andarial's sensitive ears picked up the tiny sound of music coming from the electric pokemon's headphones. She wrinkled her nose at the Raichu's disregard for everything around her. Her disregard for the peaceful and calming atmosphere of today. She couldn't just take off her headphones and enjoy it. No she had to be completely annoying and have it blasting out to the world. Andee started her way over to the Raichu when she got distracted by a male wartotle coming up to her.
So instead she called out to the other female, "Turn your music down!" Her eyes glittered angrily as she turned to the wartotle but as soon as he spoke a smirk quirked her lips. She crossed close to him and brushed her shoulder up against him, circling him and allowing her tail tip to touch around his neck until she was in front of him it touched underneath his chin. She looked at him with her golden eyes, a mischievous gleam deep in them as she regarded him closely. A laugh fell from her lips and she spoke to him, "You gotta come up with a better line than that to get me interested, boy. Do you like what you see, hm?"
Andee loved flirting. It was one of the few things she was good at. It was almost like a sport for her, she would hunt down her target and go in for the kill, then leave them hanging on a word. Flirting was something she did everyday almost. She loved it and would always do it. She had never fallen in love though. That was something she never hoped she'd do.

"Turn your music down!"
Aaaaaaand cue annoyance.
Qi Li Xiang really wasn't a loud song, and although Elisa really wouldn't admit it, she did like it. What business did this slut of a Leafeon have telling her what to do, anyway? Some part of her noted that if that was really necessary, the Raichu couldn't have heard the grass Pokemon's order anyway.
Normally, Elisa would have just ignored the Leafeon and went on her merry way. But normally, the Raichu wasn't walking around on a humid morning making do on two hours of "sleep", the fumes of blood and detergent, and a frappuccino. Without bothering to adjust her music in the slightest, the sleep-deprived rodent simply acted on impulse. Elisa took a shallow breath, then took a step. Her Agility brought her gracefully to stand in front of the Leafeon, and the Raichu narrowly avoided crushing a section of the holly bush beneath her paws. She tilted her head slightly to the side, eying the flirting couple with a mix of amusement and derision. Maybe she shouldn't butt in, but hell, Elisa's dislike for romance only goaded her on more. Her voice took on a deadly quality, like the sharpness of a well-kept razor.
"And what," she said slowly, with all the kindness of a centennial glacier, "makes you think your opinion is worth a shit?" Elisa made sure to glare - no, glare wasn't the right word, it implied anger, not the icy disdain Elisa knew she radiated - directly at the Leafeon, giving her a good view of her black-and-gold eyes. Maybe she'd be creeped out. The thought cheered the Raichu. [ ]

Twill was shocked. Normally the girl would be flattered or repulsed, normally splashing water/a beverage/fire breath in his face if it was the latter. They normally didn't flirt back. He hid his surprise under a cool exterior and smirked.
"Well, I--" he was cut off by the punk Raichu as she launched herself right in front of the Leafeon. He frowned as she coolly and threateningly commented to the Leafeon who was now in her face. Without thinking, he put his arm around the Raichu. "Calm down, girl," he said slyly. "There's enough of me to go around!" ((nomusefff.))
