Generations before the kittypet called Rusty set foot in the forest, five clans ruled. Without the twolegplace so inhabited, prey was more easily found and the cats of the Clans felt safer. Once the twolegs came, one of the clans, SkyClan, was forced out.
But what if the twolegs had never come so disastrously? What if SkyClan had not been forced by the others to leave?
The five clans live peacefully, protecting their territory and raising their kittens into warriors. There is no Code-- it has not yet been created. One by one, new laws will begin to spring up. Before Rusty was ever an inkling of a thought, the clans were different, in personality and ideals.
The proud and haughty ThunderClan; the meek and honorable ShadowClan; the attentive and knowledgeable RiverClan; the slow-thinking and willful WindClan; and the loyal and trusting SkyClan. But what caused them to change into the clans as we know them today?
Not only are the Clans beginning to change, but an anti-Clan faction called the Shards has sprung up. They grow more vicious with each day, planning their attack to rule the Clans.
What will happen? Only you can decide.
