I.R.B.I.M.S.P.U
"THIS WORLD IS A WORLD OF GREEN GRASS AND BLUE SKY. TO SEE IT GO DOWN WOULD MEAN I'D HAVE TO DIE."
Name: Ringtail-jive , but she prefers RJ or Jive.
Species: Lucario
Gender: Female
Faction: Mayhaps I can nudge her into Edens gardeners? She's no grass type, buttt... she's peaceful and interested in plants? And she can grow roses? xD
"THE STARS ARE MY HEAVEN, THE CRACKED EARTH MY HELL. THE SCARS A REMINDER OF THE STORIES I COULD TELL."
Ability: Steadfast
Gift:
She can make roses appear, make them grow anywhere. That's it, just roses, and the majority of the time they are yellow. This developed a short time after she was released form her cage, and though she can grow the roses she can't use them in any other way besides being the decorative and lovely flowers they are. She can, however, wilt any rose she grows just as easily as make it bloom. They will also wilt unintentionally if she is startled, scared, or angered.
Hold Item:
A muscle band- the orange coloration was a customized thing received form her old trainer.
Attacks:
Force palm - Bone rush Aura sphere - Close combat Toxic - Brick break Focus blast - Sky uppercut Hi-jump kick - Iron defense
Talents:
She can juggle and is very flexible from the acrobatics she had to learn in the carnival. She can sew, as she had to mend her costumes, but she refuses to wear any other clothes besides her scarf and protective cloak.
"I'LL GROW MY ROSES IN PEACE, AS THE GOLD SUN GOES DOWN. AND I'LL KNOW, AT LEAST, I'LL AVOID THE TOWN."
Personality:
RJ is a silent being, calm and collected despite her hectic life. She is mellow- a peaceful creature who would happily spend her days lounging in the sun and tending to roses. She loves nature and tends to stick to the more 'wild' areas than in the city, for she fears being seen by humans. Her love of nature sprouted from her former lack of it, and if deprived of laying in a patch of grass, she'll whimper and moan like a caged animal. She may be calm most of the time, but denied the one thing she can easily latch onto, Jive spirals into a useless lump of emotionless flesh.
She is extremely alert, despite her calm nature, and is very flighty for such a strong pokemon. She is easily frightened which causes her to flee away from whatever scared her as quick as she can. Loud noises like thunder or that of arguments freaks her out and the quivering canine-esque pokemon will hide herself until the noises go away. Or perhaps even longer, as she prefers everything to be calmed down before she comes back out.
Ringtail is very shy, caused by her lack of socializing as a riolu and even after her evolving. Crowds make her nervous, but so do single others, and she tends to move away from company unless provoked into conversation. She is intelligent and knowledgeable- which could easily be found out if anyone could ever coax her into a conversation that's longer than a few seconds. A creature who would rather use force to establish and protect herself than words, she is very set ad determined in what she finds right and wrong. Being strong doesn't disadvantage her when she's trying to keep the peace, but when fists fly she would be the first to leave. It can be noted she avoids fights and even goes so far as to close her eyes and plug her ears if she can't get away from a scene. If ever challenged she either runs or vigorously shakes her head 'no'. An act, which, some bullies find provoking, and so most of the time she goes with option A.
Despite her shyness, Jive is very kind. If she can help in any way, she'll attempt it, and usually in such sweet ways it is hard to look her kindness over. She has been known to give gifts to the few that attempt conversation with her, usually small roses or other little flowers. And as for those she likes and that she dares even speak to, daily showerings of huge golden rose blossoms are to be expected. She is affectionate in such actions, though she never lets on her tender feelings.
Overall just a mellow creature who prefers silence and action to words, RJ is easily a perplexing creature in both attitude and appearance. She should be approached with cautions, because despite being sweet and calm, she is jumpy and tends to edge away form others.
"I MAY LIVE HAPPILY IN THIS GARDEN OF GREEN- BUT YOU SHOULD REALIZE WHAT THIS WOULD MEAN."
Description:
Besides the basic shape of a lucario RJ is insanely off course. Her anatomy is exactly the same wiry build as any other of her species- it's the collection of colors on her body that throws people. Where blue would be there are only shades of cream and gold. Gray is replaced with black on her limbs, the intricate bar-like marks surrounding her muzzle just as dark. Dark brown spots are noticeable around her pale green eyes, spots the same color as the bands of brown at her shoulders and the base of her tail. Said tail is- as her name suggests- ringed in black and white like a lemurs. Her belly and abdomen are a light shade of cream, and on either side about where the ribs are, four little ovals of a darker yellow shade dash across her middle.
The large ears on this female are the same as any other lucarios- huge, rhombus shaped, twitching. But the four gray appendages that normally hang from just beneath the ears are her wackiest features. Instead of the smooth short fur most have, she has longer fuzzy fur. Those four little sensors, in all their fuzzy glory, are striped respectfully in this beasts color code- black, brown, and cream. She has additional longer fluff around this area, perhaps to make it all blend in, but the black tufts settled just at the base of her ears give her a shaggy and unkempt look she adores.
Her arms, up to the elbow, are a dark mass of black, the only light points in their depths being the sharp white spikes on the back of her paws. Short little claws sprout from each finger to accompany the more deadly formation, less formidable in their hidden sheaths. Her legs, up to about the thigh, are the same dark color. She carries no spikes on her legs- no lucario does- but she does have silver paw-pads the boast of... not that they are anything special, with their dusky gray shade.
RJ, despite her scruffy and scrappy appearance, is peaceful. To keep others from jumping to conclusions about her fighters appearance, she disguises herself in a thick brown cloak. It is an uncomfortable and heavy piece of cloth, but if she has the need to wander out into a public area, the itchy lengths mask her. She has never been seen without a long orange muscle band in the guise of a scarf jumbled around her neck- a 'scarf' she uses to disguise a very gruesome scar that resides on her neck. This length of cloth is striped in yellow an black, the spaces between altering between the orange base of the scarf and a dark complimenting shade.
Overall, Ringtail has the appearance of a two-legged raccoon. Her striped tail and ringed eyes do little to deny this, and she has more than once heard rude jeers of how she doesn't look like a pokemon. her protests of the lack of a gray body and white belly do nothing either- she is still a black pawed, ring-eyed, stripey little beast, and that seems to be the first and only thing other notice.
"A PAST SO HORRIBLE IT TURNED ME MELLOW ENOUGH TO LIVE NOW IN MY FLOWER FIELDS OF YELLOW."
History:
RJ's birth was quite a production. Hatching saw a confused trainer who was looking to get rich quick. At the sight of the strange baby his brother lucario had hatched, well... he nearly drooled. His dream was easily accomplished- everybody likes an oddity you know- and the first few years of her life was spent parading around in odd costumes, being an exhibit in a traveling carnival, and fighting battles for show. It was fun the first few days, but the drone of routine ruined life for the stripe-tailed beast, and she had easily become tired.
She was kept in a cage at night. A comfortable cage, but behind bars nonetheless. After one of her slower shows, a pokemon darted up to the bars and chatted amiably with her. He told her about where she was living- confined in a circus in the beautiful city of Sootopolis. The little roselia told her of all the world beyond the dark walls of the metal cage. He told her of the sky- for she got up too early and came back too late to ever see the tempting stretch of blue. But most of all he told her of grass, a substance she didn't see in the dusty brown grounds of the carnival. They never settled on grass, merely traveled on until stretches of stone or dirt was available. She wasn't sure why, but the green spots she could see through the slots in her traveling crate seemed to call to her, and RJ was jealous of the tales the grass pokemon told. She grew angry as they spoke, humiliated that she had no interesting tales in return. Enraged this pokemon, so small and ordinary, had seen so much more of the world. She lashed out through the bars of her prison, clawing the pokemon with the spike on the back of her hand. He ran. She hid and cried. Life went on in the circus.
Another year saw her in the same cage, exhausted after performing, as her 'master' had kicked up a notch what she had to do to impress others. Her talents included but weren't limited to- juggling, acrobatics, and magic tricks. They were easy for her to learn... quick and simple tricks she didn't mind having up her sleeve. But they were tiring to do over and over. As she sat, rubbing her sore forearms and sighing over the days events, she heard a soft tap on one of the bars of her cage. A green head popped up, and a tiny circular scar was prominent in the circular shape. It was the roselia, and he squeezed quickly through the bars to keep her from asking questions. He carried in his two rose hands another flower, a rose as pale yellow as the fur on the Lucarios belly. He set it down, smiled, and popped back through the bars before RJ could say a word. She fingered the flower in wonder. She had seen roses on the end of her mysterious friends ringers, but never one so... separate. And yellow. She liked yellow. But what was it for? The question nagged at her brain. She found out a few moments later though, as the screeching noise of bars being pushed apart sounded in the otherwise silent night. She said not a word to the aggron, merely nodded thanks, and the trio of pokemon scurried of into the dark.
She has yet to tell anyone what happened between her skulking around sootopolis for that year and the month she decided to move into the city. She never lets slip any tales of what happened in that time she avoided the city, merely shrugged when she was asked about those months with the two wild pokemon who had broken her out of a freak show. People stop asking questions when they don't get answers, and so she avoided that past, and continues to try and avoid it.
