Gift: Gift? Nightstar always tells himself he has no gifts at all. Of course, he's wrong. He is a master of disguise, easily able to change his appearance with some sort of special power. The only thing that separates him from the real thing is the eyes. They are always yellow, unlike the real thing who may have a variety of eye colors. Although it all depends on the Pokemon he's imitating, the differences may be more apparent.
Talents: Nightstar is faster and has more defenses then the normal Umbreon, reason so for an event in the past or for the fact that she is shiny, who knows. He can easily disappear into the shadows, if not kept an eye on.
Attacks: Faint Attack/Moonlight/Bite/Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball/Dig/Iron Tail/Sucker Punch/Heal Bell/Wish/
But so what if we are sealed in darkness?
Description: Nightstar is rather difficult to spot at night, but perfectly stands out in the daytime and not just for his color pallet.
Lets talk about Nightstar by comparison with a normal Umbreon. Nightstar is signically taller, at 4 feet solid and heavier, at 60 lbs solid, but the differences end there. Nightstar carries around a shard of Dawn Stone, remembering a lost mate (to be explained in history). Something has been surgically added onto his tail (Also explained in History) that looks like a gear. His pelt is scarred heavily from battles long ago.
Next thing We'll talk about is...well we don't have much to talk about now, except to summarize the thing. Nightstar's height and weight differences are a deciding factor in his battles and his pelt proves it. There are various scars on the pelt, some looking like claw scars, other look like man-made scars, one even looks like he's been hit by a laser. His Dawn Fragment (its what he calls it) also differates him from a normal Umbreon, and of course, his shiny coat also differates him from a normal Umbreon.

Personality: Lets not forget the dark past that looms next, is it the past that shaped our Umbreon?
Nightstar is cunning, able to predict with surprising accuracy on what his opponent will do next. Maybe his Dawn Fragment helps him in this or it does not, you'll find yourself having trouble using the moves you want to use with strategy, because he can predict. Being alone for a long period of time hasn't bothered him, but he HATES crowds. He tends to get violent if in a crowd for a long period of time (around an hour will get him started)
He sleep-walks, often throwing him into fits of violence, caused by fear in his nightmare plagued dreams. He can be woken up if hit hard by a move. However, not even this works, so he may be subdued if hit by Thunder Wave, though your risking Synchronize taking effect.
Behind all of his cunning, Nightstar is very quiet. He doesn't like to talk, especially around his past that he'll refuse to talk unless he's in a dream-state, expect during a very interesting conversation. He always speaks his mind and will fight to defend his opinion. If possible, He stays away from talk, often going onto a high place and watch the stars at night or Sootopolis at day.

History: Here it is, the dark history that haunts Nightstar...I don't wanna start, do you?
Nightstar was born far outside Sootopolis, in a grassy grove. His mother was a Glaceon, his father an Espeon. There were four, including him. They knew that their son was different from the rest, he was shiny. This caused desperate teasing within the other wild Pokemon and his siblings, tearing the shiny eevee apart from the inside.
Glaceon and Espeon knew this and sent their young to a group of tribal Eeveelutions, led by an Umbreon. Nightstar looked up to the leader, but was mentored by a Glaceon, Iceheart. Like her name suggested, her heart was cold as ice. She rarely ever gave praise and literally tortured him. It was horrid, everyday he was sent to the Healer, bleeding from various places. Eventually, he was given a mission that meant certain death, Steal an egg from a clan of Lucario and Riolu. All the tribe members knew the violence Lucario could muster up should one of its eggs be stolen.
Least to say, Nightstar did it and it was lashed with wounds so severe, they thought he would die. Not only did he not die, he evolved into Umbreon. This caused much confusion that in the end, Iceheart challenged Nightstar to the death. Nightstar's newly-found defenses, speed, and moves murders Iceheart, her blood stained his paws, so he was banished for killing a great warrior. He warned that the past would haunt them all, especially Iceheart's murderous past before leaving.
His words soon became true, but before the leader, the Umbreon we mentioned earlier, challenged him to leadership. Nightstar murdered him the day before the battle and became the leader without a fight. He led the tribe through all the tough times, proving himself many times over, despite him murdering Iceheart and the leader, Icestar (The Umbreon's name).
Little did he know that his biggest challenge was just starting, love. He fell head over heels for a beautiful Leafeon named Petalmist. The two spent their days together when the tribe wasn't looking. However, she was frail and giving eggs would most likely kill her and it did. She gave 3 eggs before she closed her eyes forever. His heart was broken and he vowed never to love another again, for fear of losing her like he lost Petalmist. (That can change anytime soon!)
Finally, after a few years, a battle changed it all. The two tribes of Lucario and Eeveelution fought. Eeveelutions lost, so all the tribe members were forced to join the Lucario. Nightstar, however, fled and found Sootopolis and has stayed there ever since. He has kept his name and hasn't forgotten his Dawn Fragment, tied by a lone Riolu. Once, he was captured by scientists and had a gear like thing surgically added in his tail that whirls when he's running.
...Now you see why he hates talking about his past.
