The Fireworks Gang is the group of Pokémon made solely out of fire-types. They are usually seen as the weakest of the three major factions in Sootopolis City. The Fireworks Gang is rather small in size due to the small amount of fire-types there are in the world, but they are able to be larger than the Aureole, which is made entirely out of Castform. Without the influence of the Aureole and the sheer size and power of the Tsunami Gang, many Pokémon wonder how the hell the fragile fire-types do it.
Well, to begin with, they live like they're fucking dying.
The Fireworks Gang is long regarded as the most famous due to the amount of havoc they cause in the city. The gang has no structural system of command: you do as you please, fighting to live. They usually have a lot of fun 'living', and pissing off enemy Tsunami Gang members a game the them.
Despite the lack of actual leadership (their current leader acts quite young and doesn't seem like the type who could lead a ragtag group of fire-type), the Fireworks Gang appears to always know what's going on inside their own gang. A family-like relationship appears to have taken the place of leadership and rules in the Fireworks Gang, and it's rare to find a member who would abandon another. All members are usually very close to each other, but arguments are bound to break out: families, after all, are like that.
Due to the ominous danger of the Tsunami Gang, all Fireworks Gang members must know at least one of these moves: Solarbeam, Sunny Day, and Grass Knot. Compared to the Tsunami Gang's recommended moves, these are completely mandatory. All fire-types can learn Sunny Day, so there's no reason they shouldn't have at least that attack on them.
Due to their weakness, the Fireworks Gang has been through a lot of rough times, but they rise like the embers they are: even small flames and grow into large fires. Their first ever leader was a Ninetales, who grew to live for many years until she died of natural causes. However, the gang did not know of a world without a leader, and as a result, the Fireworks Gang almost disappeared completely. However, they began to rebuild, and ended up becoming the only gang without a leader to control them. It is said this is where the extremely close, family-like bond was forged.
Only recently has the gang accepted a leader, although she's less of a leader and more likely simply the most daring member of the gang. Of course, there is a reason she holds the longest time swimming in the Tsunami Gang's lake.
